We are looking for a Development Project Leader to expand our team and lead one of Agomab’s antibody development programs.
Project leaders have a key role within the Project Team and the organization, ensuring scientific leadership of their projects and proper strategic planning, coordination and communication with the different departments, analyzing risks and challenges, proposing solutions and being up to date with their scientific field. The Project Leader will work in a matrix organization and a multi-national environment in close coordination with all team members and the management team.
What will you do?
You will lead one of Agomab’s antibody projects to achieve the objectives set in line with the strategy of the company;
You will lead effective communication between the different development departments to ensure scientific coordination in a timely manner;
You will be the representative of the project providing updates to management, including presentations in Portfolio meetings;
You will drive project team meetings in close collaboration with the Project Manager and monitor that activities are executed as agreed;
You will supervise project plans and work on scenario planning, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and SMEs;
You will supervise budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Finance;
You will anticipate risks, challenges and bottlenecks, and will work on risk mitigation strategies;
You will be up to date with scientific literature in your relevant field;
You will participate and assist in the relationship with external stakeholder such as KOLs, key providers etc.;
You will monitor and analyse competition in your relevant field.
Wie zoeken we?
Who are you?
You have a bachelor’s degree and a PhD in biomedicine or equivalent with 10+ years of biotech or pharma industry experience;
You have working knowledge as project leader in development of new drugs;
Prior experience in development of antibodies will be a plus;
Prior experience in liver indications and clinical-stage projects will be a plus;
You are curious and scientifically driven but you know how to translate the company corporate strategy into the project;
You have good knowledge of the industry and the different disciplines involved in drug development and are able to contribute to pharmacology, toxicology, ADME, clinical and CMC discussions to ensure coordination of the team;
You are proactive and flexible to adapt to new tasks outside of your comfort zone;
You are well-organized, systematic and rigorous and pay attention to detail without losing sight of overall objectives;
You have the ability to work under challenging timelines and manage different tasks simultaneously;
You are able to work in a multi-cultural environment, ready to lead a multi-national project team, and to interact with international stakeholders;
You speak and write English fluently, and have a sound experience in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
You are most of all a motivated and self-driven person and a team-player.
