Specified NV is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to provide innovative solutions for our clients across various sectors. You will work closely with clients to understand their challenges, develop tailored strategies, and support the implementation of engineering projects.Location: Antwerp/Ghent/BrusselsKey Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical components and drawings using CAD software.Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.Perform material selection, analysis, and testing to ensure quality and performance.Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.Prepare and present technical documentation including specifications, reports, and design reviews.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing products and systems. Qualifications:Masters degree (or equivalent through experience) in Electromechanical/mechanical Engineering or related field.2-3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and thermodynamics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
